I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of the enclosed Petition and to
state for the information of His Lordship the General Commander in Chief that
the necessary steps have been taken for the admission of the Boy J.H. Cart,
should the Commissioners approve thereof, unto the Asylum.
As the Petition refers to the girls Maria H. Cart and Charlotte E. Saunders for
whom there is no provision at this Institution, I beg leave to return to you the
same herewith enclosed.
