Catherine McKechnie was born in 1880 to
Dugald and Jane McKechnie. In 1901, she was living with her parents, gave her
name as Katie, and was described as a Dentist's Book-keeper[1].
In 1906 she married Adam Hardie Inglis, a dentist, and gave her name as Kate[2].
Kate had at least one daughter,
Elizabeth, whose married name was Endicott. Elizabeth presumably had no children
since, when she died, her executors advertised in the Greenock Telegraph (in
1987) for any descendants of Dugald McKechnie and Jane Nicol to share her
estate.
