Frances Hunt was born in
1863 in Hammersmith. In 1881 at the age of 17, she was employed by her
brother Henry as a domestic servant in his home at 76 Queens
Road, Hammersmith. She married Thomas Drinkwater, a carpenter
with a workshop in nearby Kensington. In 1901 they were living at
76 Netherwood Road, Hammersmith with their children.
