Stephen Dungate was born
in Camberwell in 1871 [3]. In 1891 he married Ada Lee at St
Stephen's church [3]. At the time he was living at 40
Villa St, Walworth, his wife-to-be at 36 Villa Street [3]. In 1891 and 1892, he was described as a
Scale Maker [2], [3].
Stephen died in February
1901 at the age of 29 of Pulmonary Tuberculosis [3]. At the time of his death he was still
employed as a scale-maker, at 27 Salisbury House, Westminster
Bridge Road [3].
